Clinical Study: Seeking Participants with Keratoconus or Corneal Ectasia

Do you suffer from keratoconus or corneal ectasia? Do you know someone who does? The Eye Consultants Research Foundation is seeking patients in the DFW metro region for a clinical research trial supported by Avedro, Inc. The trial studies an investigational treatment to stop or slow the progression of keratoconus and corneal ectasia.

You may qualify to participate if you meet the following:

– You are 18 years of age or older
– Were diagnosed with keratoconus or were diagnosed with corneal ectasia after you received refractive surgery (e.g. LASIK, PRK)
– Are able to come in for at least 8 office visits over a 12-month period

Eye Consultants of Texas has established the Eye Consultants Research Foundation to actively conduct clinical studies for a variety of eye diseases and conditions. By participating, patients in the DFW metro region will have access to medications and devices in clinical development that provide effective treatment of their particular disease or condition. Each participant receives advanced care from doctors who are experienced in conducting research in accordance with Good Clinical Practice.
